October INDY FEVER!
It's Indy time in Queensland again. Indy is a sort of schoolies
week for grown-ups. Usually sensible, hardworking members of the business
community put on over-the-top racing shirts and hats covered in huge
logos, book themselves into highrise buildings with a couple of hundred
of their favourite clients and generally behave like 17 year olds out
of the house on their own for the first time.
As always, a range of our clients (who must remain nameless) have called
on Fresh Promotions to supply all the mandatory gear for the week's
madness. From binoculars to watch the racing and the antics on neighbouring
balconies, pallets of branded water to offset the worst effects of
the all night drinking sessions, branded outfits for the hostesses
and acrylic plastic beer mugs which reduce collateral damage, Fresh
Promotions has been sending truck-loads of gear down to the "Glitter
Strip". Despite the week's madness, we haven't lost a client yet. Most
are back at their desks the next week, a little bleary eyed but adamant
the investment of budget and braincells was worthwhile.

October, Scott 24Hr National Mountain Bike Event
Every
year over 3000 brave (crazy?) mountain bikers, professionals and
cruisers, gather outside Canberra in the foothills of the Great Dividing
Range and go hard at it for 24 hours. One of the most longest and
most famous mountain bike races in the world the training requirements
and exposure the Scott 24hr event has provided mountainbiking over
the years is the reason Australian Mountainbike riders fill so many
rankings in the world’s top ten.
This Year Fresh Promotioms was asked to source unique branded merchandise,
specially manufactured garments and bicycle accessories and pull
together a sprawling range of merchandise and promotional requirements.
The planes have arrived, the twelve pallets of product have been
delivered. Now it’s over to the maniacs riding day and night
through the forests.
