FOSTERS’ PURE
BLONDE MARATHON TEAM
Not content with working tirelessly Monday to Friday to distribute
as much quenching ale as possible to the grateful residents of Australia,
Fosters’ corporate team clocked on again on a Sunday for the
Bridge to Bay “fun” Run. The predicted hot weather and
bright cloudless skies vindicated the decision to ask Fresh to source
high-tech moisture wicking sportwear.
The Pure Blonde Team not only set the track alight with their best
finish in the history of the race, but looked as good as they performed,
kept cool and dry by the hi-tech fabrics in the garments Fresh provided.
You can get it runnin’......hang on, wrong brand.... well anyway,
didn’t those Pure Blondes go down well after the event. And in
true Fresh style we were there to help with those, too.

EPIC MOUNTAINBIKE MARATHON
The Flight Centre Epic Mountain Bike event is a gruelling
110km marathon, curling up, down and around the Toowoomba range in
SE Queensland. Over 1300 competitors fight through the lush subtropical
rainforest, struggle across wide expanses of mud and marsh before confronting
the formidable climb to the long awaited finish line at the top of
the range.
Fresh was engaged to manufacture a range of Epic branded merchandise
from scratch including specialty designed completion reward gifts which
were contracted to fabricators in Shanghai and airfreighted to arrive
within deadline. From brief to delivery the project was completed in
30 days
After the success of the event and the feedback from competitors management
have asked Fresh to become involved in a wide range of their other
successful race events across Australia. We’re happy to manufacture
the products, pack the showbags and leave the bike riding to the maniacs,
err, experts.

ROCKLEA RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH
Fresh Promotions have a policy of assisting community groups and local
schools with donations and discounted merchandise where possible. Australia’s
growing population of Russian migrants in Western Brisbane asked us
to design, print and embroider a range of T-Shirts and Polos to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of their largest church.
When the artwork for the garments arrived drawn in Derwent pencil and
showing an image of the church complete with onion domes and spires
we weren’t worried. We were worried by the cyrillic
text which even the charming ladies managing the job couldn’t
read. By some miracle (and a bit of cross checking on the internet)
the spelling was perfect and the pictures and letter of thanks showing
the whole celebrating congregation wearing the final product, made
everything worthwhile. What great people.
Sundata
Give us a BIG Idea
One of our longest standing promotional clients, Sundata is a genuine
quiet achiever amongst Australian technology companies having been
around for 20 years, building a client base which includes companies
like Suncorp, KFC, Bank of Queensland Golden Circle and of course Fresh.
After many years of in-house development and trialing, Sundata have
begun to actively promote “Quad”, an innovative education
administration solution which sets new standards for school and college
management and accounting software.
The first stage of the program was to introduce the product to headmasters
at a major national conference. Sundata gave us the following brief;
1. We want a big idea and to be noticed.
2. We want 1000 units.
3. We only want to spend $3 a piece.
So much for the fleet of new Mercedes delivery vans we had our eyes
on.
So here it is. Our $3 big idea. The headmasters loved it. Everyone
got a cheap laugh and no doubt the ridiculous giant pens are still
out there being handed to dazed individuals who make the mistake of
asking the wrong person
“can I borrow a pen”.
And Quad is off and away.
Queensland Business Development Exhibition
From its inception Fresh has been associated with Business Acumen magazine,
Queensland’s leading business news magazine so we were pleased
to assist in the promotion of their first business Development conference
to be held at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre.
Scott 24Hr National Mountain Bike Event
Every year over 3000 brave individuals gather outside Canberra in the
foothills of the Great Dividing Range and go hard at it for 24 hours.
One of the most famous and longest mountain bike races in the world
the training and exposure this event has given over the years is one
of the reasons Australian Mountainbike riders are amongst the world’s
most awarded.
This Year Fresh was asked to source unique branded merchandise, specially
manufactured garments and bicycle accessories and pull together a sprawling
range of merchandise and promotional requirements.
The planes have arrived, the twelve pallets of product have been delivered,
now it’s over to the maniacs riding day and night through the
forests.
